South Korea wants its own version of Taurus
South Korea’s Agency for Defense Development will soon pick a local partner to develop an indigenous variant of the Taurus air-launched, long-range cruise missile for the KF-X fighter.

Some Taurus KEPD 350 technologies were transferred to South Korea as part of offset deals when Seoul purchase the missiles for the F-15Ks.
“Based on the transferred Taurus technology, we’ll develop our own air-to-ground, long-range missile to be integrated into the KF-X fighter jet, which is expected to be operational by 2026,” an anonymous official said.
